This is a list of scripted Belgian TV shows. The first section covers shows that are currently, or have previously, been available to watch in the United Kingdom. The second section covers shows that are currently available with English subtitles in other countries plus a few that are due for release.

The list includes current availability and provides a link to where you can watch. We’ve only included paid streaming services (Netflix, Prime Video, Now TV etc.) not services where you can pay for shows individually (itunes, Amazon Video). The initial UK channel is also shown where that differed. Where there is no current availability the link is for the relevant imdb page. Where possible we’ve also now added links showing availability in Australia and the United States.

W – The Killer of Flanders Field (W. – Witse de film) – MHz Choice

Current status: This was a one-off film featuring the character of Commissaris Witse – the main character in the TV show Witse which aired in Belgium from 2004 to 2012 (117 episodes).

Coming Soon

Over Water – Een. This is a brand new series – due to air in Belgium in late 2018/early 2019. This Antwerp set crime drama follows John Beckers – a failed TV personality – whose life takes an unexpected turn after he starting working for his father-in-law’s company at the Antwerp docks. The first two episodes are set to premiere at the Gent Film Festival in October and they’ve already released a trailer. There’s also already a second season in the works.
