New and returning series – details

Keeping Faith (Un Bore Mercher) S2 S4C (Since 12/05/2019)
“Drama series about a woman whose husband disappears one day”. The second series of the Welsh drama series is currently airing on S4C with episodes 1 and 2 already available on the iplayer – under the Welsh title Un Bore Mercher. New episodes each Sunday with a Friday night repeat that has embedded English subtitles. For anyone who doesn’t have access to the iplayer or who simply prefers to wait then the English language version of the series is due to air on BBC1 later this year. The trailer below is in Welsh.

Hannibal S1 5USA 25/05/2019 (Freeview Premiere)
“Detective drama series following the early career of everyone’s favourite cannibal”. Freeview premiere of the 2013-2015 NBC drama starring Mads Mikkelsen as Hannibal Lecter.

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. S6 E4 26/05/2019
Season 6 of the series that started out as a spin-off from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and which follows the adventures of a skilled team of agents from a global law-enforcement organisation as they investigate super-human individuals and unusual events.

Animal Kingdom S4 Amazon 29/05/2019
“This bold family crime drama centers on teenage J Cody, who moves in with his freewheeling relatives in their Southern California beach town after his mother dies of an overdose. Quickly pulled into the family’s life of excess, he soon discovers that it’s all being funded by criminal activities. Joining the family comes with more danger and excitement than he might be ready to handle”.
