“A boy suddenly orphaned fights his parents’ killer to save a planet, and discovers a new world of danger — and wonder”. Netflix Original anime series from Spain.

Lupin S1 Netflix 08/01/2021
“Inspired by the adventures of Arsène Lupin, gentleman thief Assane Diop sets out to avenge his father for an injustice inflicted by a wealthy family”. Netflix Original series from France.

Rebecka Martinsson: Arctic Murders S2 More4 (WP) 08/01/2021
Several years have passed since high-flying lawyer Rebecka Martinsson left Stockholm for her hometown after the death of a childhood friend. Season 2 of the dark Swedish drama based on Asa Larsson’s celebrated crime novels. Starts with a double episode (so one two part story).

“Drama series set in Texas, telling the story of an illicit affair between a high-school teacher and a student”. Adapted by Hannah Fidell from her own novel of the same name. The 10 episode series is airing over five consecutive nights on BBC2.

The Great S1 Channel 4 03/01/2021 (TV Premiere)
“A royal woman living in rural Russia during the 18th century is forced to choose between her own personal happiness and the future of Russia, when she marries an Emperor”. This satirical comedic drama is getting its TV Premiere after first being released in the UK on StarzPlay.

The Stand S1 StarzPlay 03/01/2021
“After the world is in ruins, due to a man-made plague, a battle of Biblical proportions ensues between the survivors”. Based on the novel by Stephen King.

Staged S2 BBC1 04/01/2021
“David Tennant and Michael Sheen star as two actors whose West End play has been put on hold due to Covid-19, but whose director has persuaded them to carry on rehearsing online”. Clip from the first season below.
