Stan today announced it has partnered with Walter Presents “to secure the world’s best international drama programming”.
The exclusive partnership with Walter Presents will include gripping international dramas that have been hand-picked from around the world by curator and co-founder, Walter Iuzzolino, with shows first-run and exclusive to Stan. The long-term deal will see eight brand-new shows launching on the platform in January, with additional shows being added each month.
January shows launching include: Peacemaker (Rauhantekijä), Devil’s Throat (Djavolskoto Garlo), First Responders (Åreakuten) & Sløborn – all of which are making their first appearances on Walter Presents in English speaking territories – as well as Hide and Seek and Rocco Schiavone: Ice Cold Murders – both of which are currently available in the USA on Walter Presents via PBS Masterpiece on Amazon Prime Video as well as via Comcast Xfinity X1 and Roku. Rocco Schiavone is the only show on this list currently confirmed as coming to Walter Presents UK.
February titles will include: The Pleasure Principle (Zasada przyjemnosci), Perfect Places (Perfekte Steder) and Angel of Death (Szadź) – all of which are making their first appearances on Walter Presents in English speaking territories – as well as Hassel – which is currently available in the USA on Walter Presents via PBS Masterpiece on Amazon Prime Video as well as via Comcast Xfinity X1 and Roku. The Pleasure Principle (see the Rocco Schiavone link above) and Angel of Death have both been confirmed as coming to Walter Presents UK at a later date.
