Emmy Award-winner Guy Pearce (Memento, Iron Man 3) is ex-lawyer turned PI Jack Irish in this acclaimed Aussie noir series. Aided by journalist-and sometimes girlfriend-Linda Hillier (Marta Dusseldorp, A Place to Call Home, Janet King), Jack takes on cases that plunge him into Melbourne’s criminal underbelly. I actually thought season 2 had already aired in the UK on FOX but according to my listings that isn’t the case. Season 3 – which I knew hadn’t been available here previously – is available soon too.
