Walter Presents are showcasing a number of their top French dramas during August and September based on their stunning locations around the country, which just happen to mirror the route of the 106th Tour de France.
The showcase will include the launch of two brand new dramas: Detective Cain and No Second Chance.
Detective Cain (Caïn) is a procedural drama starring Bruno Debrandt (Spiral) as a Columbo like detective – though with a personality more akin to Gregory House – who is in a wheelchair after being crippled in the line of duty. The series – which also stars Julie Delarme as Cain’s partner Lucie Delambre – has been running on France 2 since 2012 and has recently been renewed for an 8th season. So far Walter has picked up two seasons of the show: the first will launch this year and the second in 2020.
No Second Chance (Une Chance de trop) is a six part mini-series based on a novel by Harlen Coben. Alexandra Lamy plays Alice Lambert – a doctor who is shot in the back in her own home. At the same time her husband is murdered and her daughter kidnapped. With the police investigation getting nowhere and under suspicion herself Alice begins her own investigation, whilst also desperately searching for her missing daughter. A few people may have caught this series when it was available on Netflix.
Existing Walter Presents series also being showcased are: Contact, The Crimson Rivers, Killer by the Lake and Vanished by the Lake. These series are all available to watch now: just click on the series name to view online.

The first episode of No Second Chance will air on Channel 4 in August with all episodes available on All4 immediately after the episode airs. The first season of Detective Cain will launch on Walter Presents via All4 in September. Specific dates will be added as soon as we have them.
Why do they always end up on All4. Not everybody has or wants that channel

Walter Presents is primarily a streaming service so anything we get elsewhere other than All4 is just a nice bonus
